Luggage Storage Dubrovnik provides short-term luggage storage services at our facility near BuĹľa Gate in Dubrovnik, Croatia.
Services include:

  • Secure storage of personal luggage

  • Drop-off and pick-up during stated opening hours

  • Online booking and payment

We reserve the right to refuse items that violate these Terms or pose safety risks.

3. Booking & Payment

3.1 Online Booking

Customers can reserve storage through our website. A booking is confirmed only after payment is completed.

3.2 Payment

Payments are made online via secure third-party providers (e.g., Stripe, PayPal).
We do not store credit card details.

3.3 Pricing

Prices are displayed clearly on our website and include all applicable fees.
We may update prices at any time, but changes do not affect existing bookings.

3.4 Cancellations & Refunds

4. Drop-Off & Pick-Up

4.1 Opening Hours

You must drop off and collect your luggage during the facility’s published operating hours.

4.2 Identification

We may require proof of identity to release stored items.

4.3 Late Pickup

If you do not collect your items before closing time:

  • We will secure them until the next day.

  • Additional daily charges may apply.

4.4 Abandoned Items

Items not collected within 30 days are considered abandoned.
We reserve the right to dispose of or donate abandoned luggage.

5. Prohibited Items

For safety and legal reasons, the following may not be stored:

  • Cash, jewelry, or valuables

  • Passports or essential travel documents

  • Dangerous goods (flammable, explosive, toxic, etc.)

  • Food, perishable items, or strong-smelling goods

  • Illegal substances

  • Firearms or weapons of any kind

If prohibited items are discovered, we may notify authorities and refuse service.

6. Liability, Insurance & Security

6.1 Storage Security

We store all luggage in a designated, supervised, and restricted-access area.
While we take reasonable measures to keep the facility safe, standard storage does NOT include insurance, and luggage is not secured by default.

6.2 Optional Insurance (Surcharge Fee)

Customers may purchase optional insurance coverage for their luggage for an additional fee.
This insurance is:

  • Paid separately

  • Confirmed at the time of drop-off or online booking

If you do not purchase additional insurance, your items remain uninsured and stored at your own risk.

6.3 Limited Liability Without Insurance

If insurance is not purchased:

  • We are not responsible for loss, theft, or missing items from your luggage.

  • We do not compensate for damage, missing valuables, or partial loss of contents.

  • We do not accept liability for items of exceptional value (e.g., cash, laptops, jewelry, watches, passports, electronics), whether declared or undeclared.

6.4 Maximum Liability With Insurance

If optional insurance is purchased and we are found liable under applicable law:

  • Compensation is limited to the maximum amount defined in the insurance policy selected.

  • Claims must be submitted with proof of the insured items and evidence of loss.

6.5 Your Responsibility

You confirm that:

  • Your luggage is properly packed and secured.

  • You understand that without paid insurance, storage is not insured.

  • You do not leave valuables or prohibited items (as listed in Section 5) inside your bags.

6.6 Exclusions

We are not liable for:

  • Prohibited items

  • Electronic devices

  • Cash, jewelry, or documents

  • Wear and tear or damage due to poor packaging

  • Loss caused by events outside our control (force majeure)



7. Customer Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Provide false information

  • Damage the facility

  • Endanger staff or other customers

  • Use the service for illegal or fraudulent purposes

We may refuse service to anyone who violates these terms.
